       Deep inside the Geohm Savanna of Eoden, there are rather exotic animals native only to this region of this world, which also includes two unique species of werebeasts. Werelions & Werehyenas. Werelions are rather similar to their Wolf & Bear cousins in terms of intelligence and social mannerisms.
While the Werehyenas are..much different compared to other Werebeasts. Werehyenas are semi-intelligent Hyenas which the ability to take a human form, which they use to either lure Humans into the grasslands to devour, or to infiltrate human settlements in order to pick off unsuspecting victims.
          Werelions, not only seeing themselves as the dominant species of the Geohm Savanna but also wanting to have some form of stability amongst other sentient races of Eoden, had taken it upon themselves to not only prevent the Werehyenas from attacking humans or other traveling groups of other races, but also to try and prevent these feral werebeasts from bringing to the savanna unwanted attention.
Namely that of a military response from any of the other civilizations in this world. Sitting as both the Elder and most powerful of the Werelions is one named Otunga Lionheart; A black furred Lion, whose strength and power have lead his clan for several millennia.
          Aside from the respect and admiration of his own clan, his allies and one may daresay friends with Elders of the Wolf, Bear, Tiger, & Boar clans; Vukodlak Wolfang, Valentina Wybjorndottir, Rajinn Tigereye, & Sagiv Razorback. Throughout the Geohm Savanna there are small totems built with the imagery of a Lion, said to honor the Lion Elder and to mark areas which he closely monitors.
Traveling caravans often stick close to these totems to avoid running into any possible werehyenas that may try tricking them. Though that's not to say Elder Otunga leads a laid back life inside his clan; for he is respected and admired as long as he remains strong and every so often a young upstart werelion tries to challenge him, not unlike prides of Normal lions.
          This day is not different from those, for a powerful looking lion, has now stepped forth to challenge him. Otunga smiles a fanged grin, before rising from his throne surround by his harem of wives. The Black Lion of the Savanna now steps forth to prove to this upstart; why none have yet to knock him from his position.
